Als je Casablanca hoort, misschien denk je aan de Amerikaanse film. Maar Casablanca is een stad wat in Marokko ligt. Het is een leuke stad om vakantie vieren, want er veel te zien. Ik ben daar ook geweest en ik heb daar een leuke tijd gehad. Vandaag bespreek ik waarom en waar je in Casablanca naartoe kunt gaan. 

When you hear Casablanca, you will think about the movie. But Casablanca is an big city which is located in beautiful country Morocco. It is an lovely city to spend your holiday. There is a lot to see. I went to Casablanca too and had a nice holiday. Today I gonna tell you why should you go there and what to visited. 

Er wonen 5 miljoen mensen (2010) in de stad. Doordat het ook aan de Atlantische Oceaan ligt, is er veel scheepsvracht en waar door het belangrijk is voor de Economie. Daarom is er veel handel en wordt het ook een handelsstad genoemd van Marokko. Naast de haven, heeft Casablanca een internationale luchthaven. Deze luchthaven wordt Mohammed V international airport genoemd. 

There lives 5 million people (2010) in the city. Because it is situated at the Atlantic Ocean, you will see a lot of big boats and that is important for the economy. Therefore is a lot of business. Casablanca has a international airport and it called Mohammed V international airport. 

Casablanca heeft veel bezienswaardigheden. Bijvoorbeeld de Hassan 2 moskee. De moskee kijkt op de zee. Het is door een franse man Michel Pinseau ontworpen, wat ik zelf niet wist. De Hassan 2 moskee is groot, omdat er 25.000 mensen in kunnen en op de plein kunnen er nog 80.000 mensen bidden. Het is een speicaal moskee door zijn hoge minaretten. Ze zijn wel 210 m hoog. 

There is a lot of signs in Casablanca. For example: The Hassan 2 mosque. The mosque looks at the sea. It is by a french architect designd, his name is Michel Pinseau. I did not know that. The Hassan 2 mosque is very big, because 25.000 people could go in and 80.000 people could stay at the square. The minarets are 210 m high and that make this mosque special. 

Om te rusten of om een boekje te lezen, kun je naar de Arabische Liga park gaan. Het is een grote park, waar de publiek komen. Casablanca ligt aan de zee en heeft dus een boulevard. Ik vind Ain Diab boulevard mooi en schoon. Ain Diab is een moderne wijk, dat kun je zien aan de mooie auto's en aan de mensen die daar lopen. 

Would you like to relax or to read a book, then you should go to the Arab League park. It is a big park and the public goes there too. Casablanca has a beach and a boulevard. I like the Ain Diab boulevard, because it pretty and clean. Ain Diab is a modern area. The people wearing modern clothes and driving a pretty cars. 

Dan winkelen. In Casablanca kan je goed winkelen. Er zijn shopping malls en soeks, waar je uren kunt spenderen. Als je kruiden wilt kopen of Marokkaanse tradionele stuff komen ga dan naar de oude medina. Casablanca is ook bekend om de Twin Towers. De twee hoge gebouwen, rondom die gebouwen vind je veel winkels. Waaronder Mango en Zara enz. 

Then for shopping. You can shop in Casablanca. There are shopping malls and souks, you can spend hours. If you want to buy herbs or spices or typical Moroccan stuff, you should go to the old medina. Casablanca is also famous about the Twin Towers. Twin Tower are high buildings and around these buildings you will find shops, like Mango and Zara. 

Morocco Mall is een grote winkelcentrum met een bioscoop. Zelf ben ik er niet geweest. Het is dichtbij de zee. Het heeft heel veel winkels, H&M enz. Ook is er een andere winkelcentrum, deze heet Anfa shopping center. 

Morocco Mall is a big shopping center with a cinema. I did not go there, but maybe next time. It is nearly to the sea. And it has a lot of shops, like H&M. There is an other shopping mall, where you could go and it called Anfa Shopping Center. 

Casablanca kent vele hotels, waar je kunt verblijven. Voor iedere prijsklasse is er wel een hotel te vinden. Ook vind je volop restaurants. Zoals visrestaurants en moderne restaurants. 

Casablanca knows many hotels, where you could stay. Also in price. For to go eat, there are fish restaurant and modern restaurants.

Om ergens te komen kun je taxi's gebruiken. Je herkent ze aan de rode kleur. Maar let wel op dat ze de meter aan hebben staan. Sinds een paar jaar geleden rijdt er een tram in Casablanca. 

To get somewhere, take a red taxi. Make sure that the meters are on. Since a few years Casablanca has a tram way. 

Casablanca is een leuke stad om te bezoeken. Ik ben er zelf ook geweest. Ik vind Casablanca leuk, omdat het aan de zee ligt en het is een grote stad. Dus is er ook veel te doen. 

Casablanca is a nice city to visited. I also went there and I like it. Because of the sea and it a big city. There is a lot to do.
