Al een paar maanden gebruik ik elke dag deze twee gezichtsverzorgingsproducten. De producten zijn van het merk Kiehl's. Ik was wel benieuwd naar deze producten, toen ik ze gekocht had. Ik had een uitleg gekregen bij Kiehl's.

 For a few months I use these two face care products every day. The products are from the brand Kiehl's. I was curious about these products when I bought them. I was given an explanation at Kiehl's.
Ik was bij Kiehl's in de Bijenkorf en ik wilde graag weten over de gezichtsreinigers. Een aardig meneertje bij Kiehl's bood zijn hulp en ik kreeg een uitleg over de producten en welke gezichtsreinigers ik nodig heb. Tot mijn verbazing zei hij dat ik een gevoelige huid heb, bij mij komt het woordtje 'vet' in mijn woordenboek. Na de uitleg en zijn adviezen, nam ik deze twee producten mee.

I was at Kiehl's in the Bijenkorf and I wanted to know about the facial cleaners. A nice gentleman at Kiehl's offered his help and I got an explanation about the products and what facial cleaners I need. To my surprise, he said that I have a sensitive skin, with me the word ' fat ' comes in my dictionary. After the explanation and his advice, I took these two products with it.

Om te beginnen met het gezichtsritueel, was ik mijn gezicht met de Centella Skin-Calming Facial Cleanser en daarna de Ultra Facial Toner.

To begin with the facial ritual, I was my face with the Centella Skin-calming facial Cleanser and then the Ultra Facial Toner.



Centella Skin-Calming Facial Cleanser reinigt geleidelijk de gevoelige huid en zorgt ervoor dat de huid goed herstelt. Deze reiniger helpt de huid te kalmeren, als de huid onrustig uitziet. Dit komt door een plantje (Centella Asiatica), die de huid repareert. Na het wassen voelt het gezicht gehydrateerd aan. Er zit Aloe Vera in de cleanser. Want deze reiniger helpt alvast bij het hydrateren van de huid.

Centella Skin-Calming Facial Cleanser gradually cleans the sensitive skin and ensures that the skin recovers well. This cleaner helps soothe the skin, if the skin looks restless. This is due to a plant (Centella Asiatica), which repairs the skin. After washing the face feels hydrated. Aloe Vera is in the cleanser. This cleaner helps to moisturize the skin.

Het gebruik van deze cleanser is makkelijk; een paar pompjes van de cleanser, wat water en dan op de gezicht aanbrengen doormiddel van ronddraaiende bewegingen. Daarna kan het weggehaald worden met een natte gezichtssponsje. Zo doe ik het altijd.

The use of this cleanser is easy; A few pumps of the cleanser, some water and then put on the face by means of rotating movements. Afterwards it can be removed with a wet facial sponge. So I always do it.


Zoals ik eerder aangaf, gebruik ik de cleanser al een paar maanden. Nu kan ik er goed over vertellen en heb ik een mening over dit product. Ik vind de pompflacon top, ideaal voor de hygiene. En ik kan goed hoeveelheden pompen, zo pak ik niet te veel.

As I indicated earlier, I use the cleanser for a few months. Now I can tell you well and I have an opinion about this product. I like the pump bottle top, ideal for hygiene. And I can pump good quantities, so I don't pack too much.

De subsantie van de cleanser is makkelijk te verdelen en voelt als mousse. Zodra het op mijn gezicht zit, ben ik al stuk wakkerder. De cleanser reinigt het gezicht goed, na het gebruik voelt mijn huid fris, gehydrateerd. De cleanser geeft geen sterke geur af, dat is wel fijn.

The subsanty of the cleanser is easy to divide and feels like mousse. As soon as it sits on my face, I'm all that much more awake. The cleanser cleans the face well, after use feels my skin is fresh, hydrated. The cleanser does not have strong scent, which is fine. 

De cleanser bevat Aloe Vera, Centella Asiatica en Chamomilla. Jammer genoeg zit het wel achter in de ingredientenlijst en dat betekent dat er weinig van het ingredient in zit. Waar ik niet zo blij mee ben, is parabenen en Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Parabenen zijn conserveermiddelen, maar ze kunnen de hormoonbalans van de vrouw verstoren, als ik op het internet. Wat betreft Sodium Laureth Sulfate is een stof die de boel allemaal minder hardnekkig schoonmaakt, als Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Ik heb ze eigenlijk liever niet, daarom ga ik na deze flacon niet meer kopen. Ik merk dat mijn gezicht meer pukkeltjes heeft, dit had ik eerder niet.

The cleanser contains Aloe Vera, Centella Asiatica and Chamomilla. Unfortunately those ingredients are back in the list and that means; there is a little of it. What I am not happy about is paraben and Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Paraben are curing ingredients, they could disturb the hormone balance of the women, I read that on internet. About Sodium Laureth Sulfate is a substance that cleans the whole lot less stubbornly, as sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I do not actually prefer them, therefore I will not buy this bottle anymore. I notice that my face has more papules, I didn't have it before.

Na de cleanser komt de toner. De Ultra Facial Toner is voor elke huidtype. Het is een rustige tonic, die de huid voorbereid, hydrateert en voor een comfortable huid zorgt. Nou, dat zijn mooie woorden.

After the cleanser comes the toner. The Ultra Facial Toner is for any skin type. It is a quiet toner, which prepares the skin, moisturizes and ensures a comfortable skin. Well, those are fine words.

Naast dat het talg en onzuiverheden die achterbleven weghaalt, zorgen de vitamine C en E voor een kalmerende en gehydrateerd huid, volgens Kiehl's.

In addition to the sebum and impurities that are left behind, the vitamin C and E provide a soothing and hydrated skin, according to Kiehl's. 

De Ultra Facial Toner iets goedkoper dan de cleanser, hij kost €19,50 (250ml).

Het is een melkachtige tonic, waar er geen alcohol in zit. Met een watteschijfje neem ik een paar druppels van deze tonic. Dan breng ik het op mijn gezicht.  Ik zie op het wattenschijfje, dat de tonic goed alles mee neemt. Mijn huid voelt lekker zacht en schoon aan. Aan de ingredientlijst kan ik zien dat er verzorgende ingrediënten zitten, zoals amandelolie. Er zit geen paraben in de tonic.

It is a milky tonic, where there is no alcohol in it. With a cotton wool I take a few drops of this tonic. Then I bring it on my face.  I see on the cotton wool disc that the tonic takes everything with it. My skin feels very soft and clean. On the ingredients I can see that there are caring ingredients such as almond oil. There is no paraben in the tonic. 

Ik vind dat het product zuinig in gebruik is, want je hebt er niet veel van nodig. Enige klein dingetje; de verpakking. Je kunt niet zien hoeveel er nog in de flacon zit, want het is niet doorzichtig. Maar als het op de hygiene gaat, dan is het verder een prima flacon. De Ultra Facial Toner zou ik wel kunnen kopen, omdat er geen rare ingrediënten in zitten en het doet zijn werk!

I think the product is economical to use, because you don't need a lot of it. only little thingy; The packaging. You cannot see how much is left in the bottle, because it is not transparent. But when it comes to hygiene, it is a good bottle. I could buy the Ultra Facial Toner, because there are no weird ingredients in it and it does its job!
